Luke Twombly

Luke is primarily a musician but has enjoyed using his administrative skill set to benefit small business. He grew up in New Jersey and recently moved to the Shenandoah Valley with his wife Mary in February of 2017.

Prior to working at Bear Creek, Luke served as an office support for a book distributor in East Brunswick, NJ for 3 years. It is there he learned a lot about how small businesses operate and he is excited to be applying that knowledge here at Bear Creek.

Luke takes physical health very seriously as he believes it honors God greatly when each individual takes responsibility for the INCREDIBLE machine that God has physically designed in everyone. He hopes that passion influences those around him to do the same.

Michaela Mininger

Michaela Mininger

Blogger & Socal Media Assistant

After graduating high-school in June 2016, Michaela spent 6 months abroad in England & Chile working with a world-wide missions organization known as Youth With A Mission. In England she grew deeper in her relationship with God and went on to share that with others in the country of Chile on a two-month outreach trip.

She just recently returned home and has now joined the Bear Creek Creative team. In recent years, Michaela has started and run many blogs out of her love for writing. This has equipped her well for her position here as a Blogger and Social Media assistant.

Michaela plans to remain on our team until September 2017, when she will return to England to attend a 9-month intensive Bible school with Youth With A Mission. Following this school Michaela hopes to pursue a degree in English and use that to write her own work; edit others; and start her own publishing company. Along with this Michaela also has a huge heart for international missions and plans to pursue that alongside her writing; taking the Gospel to every corner of the earth.

On any given day, you can find Michaela snuggled up somewhere with a book or writing away with a cup of coffee nearby. On any given year you will see Michaela fulfilling her love of traveling by going wherever her curiosity takes her.

Adam Clark

Adam Clark

Adam’s journey to Bear Creek Creative began when he was a young boy. He’s always had a strong inclination to create. Adam spent hours working alongside his father, a gifted fabricator, designing and building a variety of tools, furniture, and structures. He learned valuable techniques from his work with metal and wood that lead him to discover incredible pieces inside raw materials.

Fast forward more than twenty years, and Adam’s journey has been full of interesting turns. After spending successful stints in the insurance and finance industries—along with some time in law enforcement—Adam currently works in the clinical research field. However, despite all the professional success, his desire to create has remained.

In his free time, Adam sources material to transform into beautiful, and highly useful, pieces. He draws his inspiration from diverse design styles. He prefers marrying elements from contrasting trends to create unique pieces. Adam feels that his work brings a modern touch to classic, rustic design and traditional charm to modern, functional pieces. He is thrilled to combine his experience and passion for woodworking with the Bear Creek Creative philosophy of conservation and restoration.

When Adam isn’t covered in sawdust from his latest project, he is proudly keeping up with this growing family. With two daughters and a son—ages 11, 8, and 2—there is no shortage of excitement for him and his lovely wife, Jennifer. They love to spend as much time as possible outdoors and travelling to visit family.
